Summary: | 碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 心理學系碩士班 === 101 === This study primarily focused on the relations among work-family conflict, social support and job burnout of the Taichung City career women. Besides, the current study also explored the moderating influence of social support between work-family conflict and job burnout.
Participants were the career women who worked in Taichung City. The questionnaire comprises the measurements of work-family conflict scale, social support scale and life satisfaction scale. One hundred questionnaires were distributed and 98 valid questionnaires were returned. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were summarized as followed:
1.Age, education, and, work-family conflict three independent variables, has reached a statistically significant level, 45% variance explained burnout.
2.Solely on demographic variables, work-family conflict explanation for burnout.
3.Work-family conflict, social support canexplain 77% of the variance of burnout.
4. Social support and weekly family-routine hours were positively related to job burnout for career women, however, work-family conflict and weekly office-work hours were negatively related to job burnout.
The suggestions were drawn from this research for both career women and the government. Investigations into the future study were also provided.
