Summary: | 碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系 === 101 === According to the “Arts Education Policy White Paper”, the arts and humanities have become the common pursuits of all walks of life along with technological advancements. It also mentioned the importance of penetrating the arts into school course and cultivating cultural and creative talents so as to enhance national competitiveness. Performing arts has been brought into the arts and humanities courses under the General Guidelines of Grade 1-9 Curriculum. It is hoped to induce students’ interest in the arts and that further enhance their artistic nature. The purpose of this study is to identify what and how many the learning benefits are.
Both experimental method and field observation method were utilized to conduct this research. The researcher adopted creative drama as teaching strategies and lead the first- grade students with game playing to do ecological exploration during the life course. The children’s musical “Little Inexperienced Butterfly’s Adventures” served as the framework to let 15 first-grade students of Chi Kai Elementary School, Tainan practice and draw pictures after. The learning benefits of aesthetics and the arts were assessed using the modified “Clinical Diagnosis Inventory on Paintings” constructed by Armand Drouant. The findings verified the objectives of enhancing children’s arts education via creative drama course and these benefits did have individual difference.
