Summary: | 碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 多媒體與電腦娛樂科學系 === 101 === Due to the rapid spread of the Internet popularity in recent years, drives the development of the social networking services.Social network game is one of the most popular applications.With the rise of Facebook, social network games have been integrated into daily lives of many people.This study questionnaire invites students and graduates of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technologyto be the recipients.Consider the time limit of the test subjects, this study use a closed questionnaire as a research tool.The purpose of this questionnaire is to collect data to statistical analysis form these individuals to provide information about the change of population statistic, the relative questionnaires of visual effects in games, the operation of games and the functional integration of cognitive operations.
This study will generalize the main interfaces design factors that cause the high retention rates of social network games. The factors are divided into eleven elements of human’s cognition points for designing user interface. This research uses the eleven elements as a importantevaluating reliance, which are ease of use, color identification, theme design, social progress, operating efficiency, operating feedback, icon recognition, a sense of accomplishment, color recognition, screenidentification, and screen segment to evaluate and observethe design points of the social net working with high retention rates.
From these elevenhumans’ recognition factors and demographic characteristics comparison, we can see the following two factors have the biggest divergence: ease of use and theme design.Especially cognitive differencesusually accompany with gender, academic background, and the game experience. By each factor recognition important level difference will cause obviously different user feeling.Therefore, game designers need to consider repeatedlyfor the following two aspects. First is the visual communication design and second is the difficulty of the operation. The social network game designersneed to considercarefully how to analyze and design out a game which can fit in with the target game population requirements to increase game saturation and further to cause the fun of the game.
