Description
Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 101 === This research mainly explores the ability of brake-to-stop of a running car in a state that an unintended acceleration occurs and an emergency brake is acted. In order to comprehensively understand the kinematical behavior, a testing car that is both accelerated and braked runs on a flat road is used to simulate the phenomenon of unexpected acceleration of passenger car. A certain kind of passenger car is chosen to progress a series of tests. For these tests, A non-contact optical speedometer mounted on the car door, and a load cell fixed on the brake pedal, respectively, are used. Then, based on the related data obtained from the entire test-car running process, the influence of unintended acceleration caused by various throttle position, and the brake booster condition, normal or defective, under a heavy brake action, are discussed and evaluated.
