Summary: | 碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 101 === With the natural disasters over the world, the issue of the environmental protection and carbon reduction has gained the highlight once more. The electric motors will replace the oil engines in the vehicles. However, there are some shortcomings of electric vehicles to be overcome, such as travel distance limit, low efficiency, low acceleration and climbing ability. As a result, the development of electric vehicles in the future will include drive system performance, battery performance and energy efficiency.
The regenerative braking system used in electric scooters is the main research topic in this thesis that designs and achieves a system with braking regeneration to charge the batteries. The motor decreases its speed and simultaneously turns into generator mode by short-circuit breaking method. As a result, the functions of braking motor and charging the batteries are provided. Accompanying with fuzzy algorithm, we analyze the regenerative braking currents in different speed and find the best effect of braking regeneration.
