| Summary: | 碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 101 === Because of advanced medical technology, Taiwan’s population now has long life expectancy. Together declining birthrates, the demands of eldercare and elder medical services is increasing. This issue has been the one of the major concern for Taiwan government and Taiwan researchers.
From the literature review, living with their family (rather than living with nursing house or other organizations) is the most preferred way of living for the elder people. However most of families in Taiwan are double-income ones which make it difficult for family members to have time and energy for eldercare and to provide sufficient eldercare at home. Elders are now at increased risk of accidents. In this thesis, the research is developing a economic Home Safety Mutual-Aid System to tackle the above mentioned issue.
Given the low cost constraints, the research adopted Arduino technology for the systems. The system includes User List , Home external channel, and The list of mutual sharing.. As a result, the developed system provided another option for Taiwan families for elder home care in an affordable and economic way.
