The appearance of smart phone makes the passing simple ways that are got information by computer and television change. It not only offers the platform to make a large amount of information but also changes the human life style gradually. More and more electronic products are replaced by the smart phone. The purpose of this research is to hope through the questionnaire and analysis method to understand the function of smart phone and the partiality degree of consumer demands. Making use of this searching offers the future development trends of smart phone.
The statistical data show the fast growth of smart phone market, no matter in quality or on quantity. This information is of potential value. In the keen competition environment of smart phone market, it is very important to find out what features are the real practical and there are demands, and should be developed and applied in order to reduce the development costs wasted of the function that consumers do not need it.
The main purpose of this research is to investigate the factors which influence consumer's demand for the smart phone, and the practical assistances of smart phone in people's life. Then we can excavate out the development trends of smart phone in the future. Using the smart phone of Android system and consumers who live in Taiwan, this research utilizes five levels of Likert Scale to measure the score of each item. Through statistical analysis of the hypothesis test and relationship between practicability and demand, we obtain the following conclusions: (1) So far as age level and the sex concern , there is no apparent difference on the demand or practicability for the function of the smart phone (2) Results present the positive relationship between demand and practicability functionally.(3) In the numerous functions of smart phones, users agree that the former three with supreme degree are: 1.Surf the net smoothly 2.Function that take pictures 3.Various designs of outer covers (4) The price of the smart phone accepts around 10,000 or 20,000 new Taiwan dollars.(5) The main purpose of using smart phone to surf internet is regard to community websites most. We can find out and understand the development trend of smart phone in the future, and develop the exclusive innovative products to assist research and develop manufacturers gain market competition niches.
