Through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), to research the weights on the sources of the job stress for junior high school directors of student affairs. Meanwhile, to underatand the comparative importances among the sources and become a basis for junior high school directors of student affairs to overcome their job stress and promote their work efficiency. To achieve the purposes of this study, it implemented by way of a literature review, and the questionaire for the opinions from the experts and drafted a preliminary structure of the sources of job stress for the junior high school directors of student affairs. It included five main dimensions and seventeen evaluation criteria. It took all the junior high school directors of student affairs in Pingtung as the subjects, and total 38 questionaires were sent, and got 35 ones returned, but with a total 25 valid questionaires, for a 92% return rate and a 71.42% validity rate. Through the statistical analysis by the software of Microsoft Excel, it displayed the weight distribution and the order of the job stress dimensions and criteria for junior high school directors of student affairs in Pingtung. After synthesizing the results, the main findings were as follow: 1. Student discipline(teaches) weighs the most for the sources of job stress for junior high school directors of student affairs, as making them feel highest level of job stress. And the following order as working load, interpersonal relationship, professional competence, and community guardian problems. 2. In the first five evaluation criteria, events for deviational behaviors weighs the most, second and the followings are conflict events for discipline, work planning and developing, time management and distribution, colleague relationship. 3. Resource provision and cooperation, educational polices and regulations, community relationships are the less affected elements of sources of job stress for all seventeen ones. Finally, based on the findings and conclusions in this study, suggestions are made to educational administrations, relevent educators and future researchers concerned.
