碩士 === 聖約翰科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 === 101 === The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of basketball shooting machine on athletic capability and shooting performance on regular basket in elementary students. Thirty male students from New Taipei Tamsui Xinxing elementary school were divided into two groups, the experimental group and the control group with 15 students in each group. Athletic capabilities and shooting performance were tested before and after eight weeks of training for both groups. Athletic capabilities included upper extremity strength、upper extremity power、upper reaction capability and hand-eye coordination.The subjects of the experimental group conducted basketball shooting training on basketball shooting machines for 8 minutes per session, two sessions per day, five days per week for 8 weeks. The control group maintained their daily routine. Conclusions: After eight weeks of training, hand-eye coordination and shooting performance were increased significantly (p<.05) in experimental group and reached significantly between groups.
