We analyze all 180 matches in Asia Junior Judo Championships 2012, which performed by 142 athletes who come from 25 Asian countries and participated in 8 male and 8 female weight categories. The statistical methods adopted to analyze the collected data are chi-square test and one-way ANOVA, and the significant level is set to be α=.05.Results:The following results can be obtained from the statistical tests. a) The average winning time of male athletes is 151.37±97.33 seconds, and the average winning time of female athletes is 123.19±98.99 seconds. It can be concluded that the first 2 minutes after a match starts is very important for that match. b) In all scoring techniques, Tachi-waza is 60.9%, Ne-waza is 29%, and Sutemi-waza is 10.2%. In performance between Tachi-waza and Shido/Hansoku-make, male athletes outperform female athletes, but in performance between Ne-waza and Sutemi-waza, female athletes outperform male athletes. c) In scoring levels, Ippon is 69.9%, Yuko is 16.5%, and Waza-ari is 9.5%. In conclusion, the results show that, in competition strategy in Asian Junior Judo Championships 2012, male athletes outperform female ones in the strategy of Tachi-waza and Shido/Hansoku-make, but female athletes outperform male ones in the strategy of Na-waza and Sutemi-waza.
