Because the convenience and lower prices, the motorcycles become the most common means of transport in Taiwan. Therefore the motorcycle parking lots are much-needed public facilities and the management system is an important issue.
This thesis designs a management system for motorcycle parking lot. The designed system is based on the RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) system, Visual Basic (VB) language and MySQL system. The PHPMyAdmin is used to create a database for recording the parking information and the VB is adopted to design the software interface for accessing database. Then, the system uses PHP to create parking information page. The car owners can use RFID tag to record and query the parking information. The users can use RFID tag, browser or APP for mobile phone to query the parking information.
