Description
Summary:碩士 === 聖約翰科技大學 === 電子工程系碩士班 === 101 === Nowadays H bridge is a main driver structure to control DC motors, and the H-bridge driver has been widely applied to many areas, such as DC/DC converters, D-class amplifiers, etc. The H bridge consists of four power transistors, and the power transistor can be either MOSFET type or BJT type. However, there exists the delay time when turning the power transistor on or off, such that the shoot-through phenomenon may occur if both upper and lower power transistors turn on concurrently. Therefore, the generation of dead time is necessary and important for the H bridge. In this thesis, based on the complementary MOSFET H bridge, we try to use two methods, one shot type and delay line type, to generate the dead time. Besides, by the implementation and experiment of dead time circuits, we will further discuss and analyze the impact on DC motors.
