A Study on the Critical Success Factors for Enterprises Importing Product Data Management Systems

碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) === 101 === In the 21st century, enterprises have more and more challenge and risk to face under the globalization situation. Because of some reasons like their corporate headquarters, design centers and factory located anywhere, science and technology progressed fast, new product innovation quickly and something else. So, they need the integration ability of Product Data Management systems help enterprises to do the well control. In this study, we find four major dimensions with thirty-one critical success factors from literature search and study first. Second, we go to discuss it with experts by Delphi Method to come out fifteen critical success factors, and then do the validation by Analytic Network Process to know how the priority is. Based on the result, we find that “Enterprise Organization” is the most important dimension, and second one is “Execution and Plan”. About the priority of critical success factors, we have eight by 80/20 principle, they are: “The perfect training for project team member and end-user”, “The authorize to project team”, “Perfect training and technology transfer from supplier”, “Define the importing procedure, range and scope clearly”, “Customization modify flexibility”, “Budget and resources support”, “Original data link and maintenance”, “Cross-section integration system”. We have fifteen critical success factors, and list eight priority factors. Enterprises can focus on these factors to import the system successfully. We also can share this experience to the other enterprises if they want to import the PDM system,too.
