During the Cold War, the structure of world politics was basically bipolar. Between the US and the USSR, spheres of influence have been established, tacitly respected and became cornerstone of international order. After the cold war, the structure of international politics turned into a multi-polar, major powers became more tolerant about the “intruder” to their traditional sphere of influence, the concept of sphere of influence also began to change in accordance. This thesis is attempted to investigate into the change of the nature of sphere of influence. Using the practices of three major powers, i.e, Russia, the US and China as examples, the author tried to trace the path of concept reconstructing and to provide better understanding about the nature of sphere of influence in the post –Cold War era. 劉必榮 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 192 zh-TW
