Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 日本語文學系 === 101 === The purpose of this study is to analyze the “Speech-Level” on the Japanese learers.
This Study analyzed OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) data of Chinese speakers learning Japanese as a Second Language (JSL).
In this study “Speech-Level” means politeness levels that phrases indicate, and there are two levels which called “Normal-Form level” to “Polite-Form level”.
In order to list down the features of “Speech-Level” used by JSL learers, I focused on four viewpoints; the “bases Speech-Level”, “Speech-Level” of different predicates, a sentence-ending particle, “Speech-Level” shift and the sentence property.
The results follow:
(1) The advanced learers is likely has the clarity of the “bases Speech-Level” more than the beginner learers and the intermediate learers.
(2) The “Normal-Form level” was to be used more in the noun/adjective phrases than the verbs.
(3) The primary consider in using the “Speech-Level shift” from “Normal-Form level” to “Polite-Form level” , should be that the phrase is or isn’t sentient of hearer.
