The rise of cloud computing and virtualization technology has further provided environments for speedy application development and deployment. Nowadays, many Internet users can often carry out many of these developing applications on a well-supported cloud platform. Therefore, these innovative Internet applications have attracted attention from today’s business industries and academia. In recent years, many businesses have begun to put more emphasis on virtualization technology, as they gain more understanding of its future prospect and advantages in the virtual global market. In fact, a growing number of enterprises have already adopted virtualization technology and anticipate to see that its features and benefits will facilitate the integration and sharing of internal resources, cost reduction, carbon emissions reduction, reduction of complex management systems, and improve operational efficiency. Due to the continuous flourish of global online transactions in e-commerce, it was estimated by senior analyst, Imran Kahn of JP Morgan Chase & Co., that the volume of global e-commerce market would reach 963 billion U.S. dollars (about NT$ 28 trillion) in 2013. Therefore, many on-line auction companies or individual Internet retailers rely on having a business intelligence system that can monitor the latest trends in buying and selling commodities. By implementing a business intelligence system, many on-line companies will be able to gain access to vital information that is essential to in developing their financial foundation. In our research, we utilized a Virtualized Test Platform to develop a Cloud-based Intelligence Business Analysis System (CIBAS) combined with PHP and Apache that automatically collects daily Internet auction information for real-time analysis by providing an effective summary of greatly sought after products. The results of our research have shown that the system has features of displaying products of high relevance and products current availability. Moreover, it provides an automatic collection of links to the auction sites, schedules the WebCrawler program, profiles auction information, and exports the collected data into an XML format. This system can significantly help Internet entrepreneurs and businesses to develop business strategies and grasp the latest e-commerce market trend. Thus, our Virtualized Test Platform architecture can be deployed on various operating systems with several kinds of virtualization software. The combination of the Virtualize Test Platform and various types of virtualization software can produce specified test results of the performance of individual systems. The results can serve as benchmarks for on-line businesses desiring to achieve reasonable resource allocation in the aspect of efficiency and management. To sum up, the implementation of a Virtualized Test Platform in developing a Cloud-based Intelligence Business Analysis System (CIBAS) combined with PHP and Apache will allow virtual businesses to access relevant information in gaining a financial stance in the virtual global market.
