Therefore, this research aimed at Taiwanese traditional architectural technique which called “Competition” as its basic, and transformed the “Competition” technique to design methods. According to the three stages of Competition technique, this research is in order to make users understand the issues which designer are trying to convey through products, and at last build up an design process to test and verify the feasibility of the methods by actual creations. Hopefully making the cultural characteristic internalize into the products by transforming traditional techniques to design methods, and let Taiwanese particular culture keep passing on through products’ intentions.
