Over 20 years of her career life, “feminine or mother instincts”, “motherhood”, “mother’s strength” is always the topic being brought up as the subject and reference in documentary writing.
The author of this thesis had decided to entitle Chien Chen’s Proses on Mothers Writing to discuss further and understand more of the consciousness involve from the three aspects of the main subject. Beginning from the “Life History Analysis”, realizing how Chien Chen stares herself as a feminine and experiencing the life style of motherhood that made her prose writing more enriching; moving to “Text Work Analysis” , seeing how Chien Chen describe the feminine or maternal instincts, imaging out the picture through text works; and ending up a respond to Chien Chen’s prose on mother writing by “Discussion of Creation”, showing how they turned out to be a creative masterpiece in nowadays.
Chien Chen had once been fallen from a hopelessly despair and suffered from life’s struggle but however, she was able to create prose writing again unceasingly by extricating, carrying out her selfhood and rebuilding her life style back to its normal way. Chien Chen gained inspiration and found out the constructive of her mother strength through this natural inborn of feminine or maternal instincts. Because of her undying devotion of love and spirit of not losing hope, we now can say that Chien Chen’s mother’s strength can also become a style feature in prose on mother writings.
