With regard to work stress, elementary school teachers feel slightly stressed; but they feel most stressed from students. 3. Elementary school teachers have good work adjustment, particularly in the aspect of vocational maturity. 4. Elementary school teacher’s age and position make significantly different on role perception. 5. Elementary school teacher’s marriage, position, school size and school area make significantly different on work stress. 6. Elementary school teacher’s gender, position and school area make significantly different on work adjustment. 7. The higher the elementary school teacher’s role perception is, the lower work stress is. 8. The higher the elementary school teacher’s role perception is, the better work adjustment is. 9. The heavier work stress an elementary school teacher has, the lower work adjustment he has. Based on the research results, recommendations have been made for educational institutions, schools, elementary school teachers, and future researchers.
