Description
Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 企業管理學系 === 101 === Environment management has been a research issue for years. However, for law regulation or worried about the reputation loss, many firms do not commit to the environment but just have their environmental management passively to response the pressure of stakeholders. Though some studies had showed the proactive environmental strategy had positive impact on firm’s performance, some empirical results do not get the same relationship. The inconsistent conclusions results in the need to reexamine the relationship between proactive environmental strategy and performance. Based on the natural resource based view and institutional theory, this study collected data from 1000 domestic manufacture. Evidence from 99 manufactures indicates that proactive environmental strategy has positively impact on firm’s performance. The green consumption and governmental regulation positively strengthen the positive relationship between proactive environmental strategy and firm’s performance.
