Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 紡織產業碩士專班 === 101 === The color is inextricably linked with our lives, usually used in a variety of areas, such as textile, building and art. And the feeling of human to color or color combination is the color imagery. Various investigations on color imagery have been completed by many researchers since forty years ago. However, so far, there still exists no accurate and quantitative model for predicting color imagery . In earlier researches, the color imagery was mainly investigated with psychological method on color-imagery scales. However, the experimental methods employed in those researches were all simply psychological category-judgement method, and the sample type used in those experiments was color block. As a result, the experimental results and the metric values of color-imagery scales proposed by those researches were unable to match with people’s psychological background and feeling. In this study, therefore, the CIE L*a*b* coordinates of experimental specimens were obtained by planning the objected color-imagery scales on a new color imagery space HRU. And then, these CIEL*a*b* coordinates were further tranfered into really color samples of polyester fabric by color matching and specific dyeing methods. Finally, the effect of color gamut of disperse dyes used in this experiment on the objectified ratio of color imagery was further discussed. The results indicate that a good color gamut of dyes employed is obtained. And there exists a significant effect of color gamut on the objectified ratio of color imagery. Finally, the ratio of 9.3% in matching the imagery colors of the fabrics with fine-Denier polyester is reached based on the wide color gamut derived in this study.
