| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 會計學系 === 101 === This study analyzes the enterprises invested R&D and gained international design awards in the different board characteristics under the impact on firm value in Taiwan According to Michael Porter's competitive advantage theory, product quality, function-ality, and even outward can be performed via the Design competition and gain market advantage, and thus improve business performance.
However, the research of design award mostly be parted of industrial engineering areas, the results are not apparent enterprise economic implications after gained interna-tional design awards. So, this paper addition to deliberate industrial project on the study of design awards, but also use the financial information to study the real impact on cor-porate value after gained international design awards.
The results show that: invested R&D or gained international design awards can In-crease corporate value, so investments design can improve investor's evaluation of the enterprise, and in the different board characteristics will also affect the value.
