According to statistics of the Ministry of Education, the Southeast Asian and Mainland Chinese spouses’ children attending elementary and junior schools by 92 academic year 30,040 people, has increased to 101 last school year 203,346 people. These new residents will be the school children have grown up the main structure of Taiwan society, so their education, parents' educational expectations, adapt to school life, learning attitude and methods, language differences and parenting attitudes, are worthy of our attention. In this study, children of new immigrants in Fuing County of Changhwa as the research subject, this research shows new resident children by their family factors, family cultural capital factors, environmental factors, personal factors and adopted the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to analyze their impact on academic achievement and various facets and factors of the degree of importance. The study sent 65 copies of the questionnaires, where effective sample size was 60. The valid rate was 92%, and the subjects in Fuxing County seven elementary school teachers as the main questionnaire distributed objects. The research results indicated that family factors weight value of the level of 0.349 ranked first; personal factors of weight value of 0.257 level ranked second; family cultural capital factor weight value of the level of 0.204 ranked third; environmental factors weight value of the level of 0.19 ranked fourth. Proposed new residents affect children's learning achievement factor weights for the education scene school teachers and parents in the education reference when subsequent researchers with a reference. From the results of this study have some suggestions as follows: First, encouraging regular reading habits among students; second, recommending that parents should have appropriate expectations, concerns and care for their children; third, promoting the learning environment, is worthy of long-term investment; fourth, improving new immigrants ' children learning difficulties and dilemmas to enhance learning achievement; and the last, providing educational workshops, that new immigrants ' parents can learn a new philosophy of education. 邱城英 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 96 zh-TW
