Staying in high temperature environment for a long time may cause thermal regulation disorder in human bodies and consequently bring out heat exhaustion or heat stroke; thus, Air-cooling Vest was developed for the industrial needs, but the vest should be equipped with pressure pipes and would be inferior in mobility. This study is to establish a portable air-cooling device which could be attached to an industrial vest with built-in air-flow system to increase not only the mobility but also cooling efficiency. The portable air-cooling device could import outside air and mix it with internal cryogenic liquid gas; hence it creates low temperature air to reach cooling effects. Moreover, the device could adjust the ratio of air and gas to control the temperature and flow of the mixed air. The apparel cooling curve in this study showed that by controlling temperature and flow, it could reach comfort in wear in a short time and an efficient way; therefore, the device could work longer and protect human bodies in high temperature better than before.
