The rotate protector of box fan drives with synchronous motor traditionally, which will drive the protector independently and protect the fan by changing its direction when bumping into outer force. The design is hard to control because of the operating environment. First, if a child pushes the protector of box fan curiously or the fan tip by the outer force, the motor might damage and change another one eventually. Second, the synchronous motor is easy to injure because of thin wire, small gear, small torque, and narrow space, so the users have lots of complains. Our design, which including driver, gear box, fan, and one motor, improves the shortcoming by a rotate deceleration that can protect the box fan be damaged by the outer force. The motor connects the fan in one side and connect helical gear to drive the gear box directly. The gear box has slide sleeve that can control the protector to rotate or stop independently and then the motor of box fan won’t injure by the outer force or tipping. The deceleration mechanism which can drive the fan and rotate protector simultaneously or independently will not only save the running and manufacturing costs but also avoid the protector injuring by the outer force or abnormal operation.We think it is really successful.
