Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立聯合大學 === 電機工程學系碩士班 === 102 === This study aims to design a device measuring human pulse with optical inspection. By radiating dorsal carpal capillary with green light, the luminous reflectance is affected by blood vessel flexibility to measure the pulse. Since the changes of luminous reflectance is tiny, it is amplified with a designed high-gain filter IF amplifier circuit and then input to a microcontroller for pulse rate judgment. The microcontroller would micro-tune the hardware for luminous reflectance according to the skin property of the user’s wrist so as to enhance the accuracy. In addition to real-time displaying the pulse rate (Sport Mode), this device could wirelessly transmit pulse waveform to a computer for recording and analyses (Signal Mode). Meanwhile, in order to save device energy, this device is also designed two energy-saving modes (Normal Mode, Care Mode) by controlling on-time of light source. The actual tests show the pulse measurable range 40-250 and the accuracy not being affected by the skin characteristics, finger shake, and arm shake of the users. Furthermore, this device merely consumes the power 17milli-watt, which is suitable for wearable devices. The completed product is expected to be broadly applied to various wearable devices so as to promote modern home care and real-time physiological measurement.
