This study is trying to use the political history of female Hakka politicians of Miaoli city to explore the development status quo of Hakka female of political participation. And to realize if the Hakka nationalism would cause different affect to female Hakka politicians. I attempt to incorporate gender issue into Hakka nation’s study, in order to enrich domestic relevant studies between gender and Hakka race. And hopping to have valuable feedback effects, causing more interest to those researchers to explore this topic with different levels and flourish it. This study used qualitative research methods, take one-on-one depth interview to collect data. By studying the experience of participants in the statements, go deep into understanding the tracks and current status of Hakka female’s political participation. And to analysis the information after interviews. The conclusions and findings of this study are summarized as follows: A.The average age of female Hakka politicians is above 50, are all married and with children, and alone-side with rich experiences in politics. B.The motivations of female Hakka politicians can be divided into 4 kinds of them: a.To accept husband’s personal networks. b.Tie-up with some politicians. c.Through out the election automatically. d.Family business. C.All of the female Hakka politicians have highly support from their families, so they can devote in their job. D.The circumstances of housework division can be divided into 4 types: a.High involvement b.Medium involvement c.Low involvement d.To hire a housekeeper. E.Some thing changed like the political history of Hakka females’ involvement of politics, but something can not be changed like the dedication to their family and job. The symbolic and meaning of Hakka female’s participation of politics, is trying to break down the impossible mission from history, and hopping that someone will have more attention on Hakka female’s participate to politics. They are trying hard to change their own human rights and living condition.
