Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄大學 === 電機工程學系碩士班 === 101 === In this thesis, we demonstrated a resonance amplification in a double-ring fiber laser system when the Bragg’s wavelength of these two fiber Bragg gratings in each fiber loop coincided. Measurements had been done to characterize the dependence of the amplification of the light output from each fiber loop on the variations of the Bragg’s wavelength between two fiber Bragg gratings, amplification factor can reach higher than 3 dBm and it is valuable in fiber sensing application. In addition, an AO modulator was used in one fiber loop and tuned the frequency for reaching the mode locking operation, at this status, mode locking at the second fiber loop can be excited and the output power in fiber ring can be enhanced higher for long distance fiber sensing application.
