However, with further investigation into the quality of EPS, even from sustainable point of view one can still find great potential within. The main theme of this research is to utilize EPS as the product instead of the packaging, and the attempt to lengthen the life-cycle by keeping both manufacturing and recycling in consideration. Five major techniques can be concluded form the analysis of existing EPS designs- molding, wire-cutting, sculpting, surface treating and replace burning.
