Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 設計研究所 === 101 === Facing severe challenges in the IT business environment such as the continuously falling profits of the OEM model, the continuously shortening product development lifecycle of the ODM model, the growing trans-national integration of enterprises, and increasingly complex R&;D software tools, enterprises are adopting different collaborative product development processes. Therefore, a model for effectively implementing collaborative product development will directly and indirectly affect product design performance and final outcomes. With literature review, expert interview, and case study, this study investigated the application of the industry and mechanical product design (IMPD) model proposed by Dassault Aviation of France for the quick integration of industrial design organizations and mechanisms with marketing departments to original equipment manufacture (OEM), original design manufacture (ODM), and own branding manufacture (OBM) operations as a solution for the problems that industrial design organizations and mechanisms and marketing departments face in collaborative product development so as to achieve the research aim, one that emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and quick integration.
After the expert interview and case study, this study found the following factors affect innovation, collaboration, and the quick integration of the collaborative product development process: (1)the design management of collaborative product development -product development software tools, interface, and collaborative product development software platform, (2) the collaborative product development process - the organization, process, and management of industrial and mechanical design departments, (3) the organization and development strategy of collaborative product development - corporate policy, corporate culture, core technology, product strategy, and the decision-making of key figures.
