Value innovation plays an important role for a corporate to keep in a good shape in a continuously turbulent environment. By taking a case-study approach, this arcticle is aimed to observe the innovative business activities for a chosen case in depth. A series of real-case examples are described in this article to illustrate how the selected case company, Trend Micro, leverages its core competency, face its operational risks, and shape its value innovation strategies.
