Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 數位學習與教育研究所 === 101 === The object of this study is to examine and characterize the education of mobile phone application developers in three different countries. Using web questionnaires, data were collected from 299 information engineering students among three Asian countries: Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan. First, the questionnaires were analyzed using reliability estimation and exploratory factor analysis to eliminate the data that’s unsuited for this study. Next, the remaining data were tested with descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study showed significant differences in multiple categories amongst students of each country. Particular in the five categories of “analysis and learning,” “production products,” “technical,” “conflict resolution,” and “problem analytics,” the data showed that students from both Singapore and Malaysia achieved higher results than Taiwanese students. From core curriculum design, both Singapore and Malaysia incorporates a diversified curriculum designed to enhance student performances. The present study provides education-related units as well as future research to enhance college students’ professional competence.
