Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 藝術與人文教學研究所 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of cooperative learning with traditional teaching method on junior high school students’ music learning motivation and music achievement. Empirical approach is adopted in this research by randomly selecting two Seventh-grade classes of an junior high school of New Taipei city.The subjects (N=50) were grouped into two classes, “cooperative learning class” and “traditional class”.After 6 weeks of experiment, data are collected in the following forms: “A measurement tool on students’music achievement ”, “A questionnaire on students’ learning motivation”, “A questionnaire on students’ opinions on cooperative learning ”, “An observation and recording result sheet ” , and “Underwriter’s memorandum during course of teaching ” were applied in this study. The data were computed by SPSS statistical software. Besides, all other qualified data are analyzed to supplement the inadequacy of quantified data. The results of this study are concluded as the following: 1) Cooperative learning would significantly increase students’ music learning motivation,. 2) Cooperative learning would significantly increase students’ music achievement. At the end of this report, I wish to submit some opinions for schools,teachers, and further research were given in this study.
