The series of Infinite is the author’s pursuit of eternity of life and belief in immortality of soul. By the imagination of internal vision upon spiritual flight, the author establishes the sources of spirit and perception in creation. In the series of creation, the author appreciates nature by mind and controls perception by color. Through abstract painting language, the author suggests the meeting between internal spirit and poetic space. This study collects and explores the author’s works from 2008 to 2012. The content includes five chapters: Chapter 1 Introduction: it introduces research motive, purpose, scope, framework, methods and steps. Chapter 2: it probes into and reflects on roles of color in painting; inspiration and effect of color use in western paintings. Chapter 3 origins of the author’s internal creative perception: it tries to find how perception experience in creation dominates creation content and expression. The ideas are based on the combination and interaction between experience in life, religion and psychological process and knowledge system. Chapter 4: it analyzes external forms of works, describes practice, content and expression techniques of creation and probes into and reorganizes color and lines. Chapter 5 Conclusions: it tries to find if the creations match research purposes, reviews the findings and reflection in creation, and suggests the prospect of future creation. Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) said, “There are two important things in painting. One is vision and the other is mind. We appreciate nature by vision and control feelings by mind”.
