Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 電影學系 === 101 === Documentary is precious because of its truthfulness without any polish or rehearsal. Documentary leaves track for audience into another space with the process of time. That is the reason why I chose documentary to create; and record down my point of view.
This is a documentary about hippotherapy which focuses especially on – courage. With cerebral palsy patients’ lives, we recorded the challenges they have encountered and the spirit of challenge in their lives.
Cerebral palsy is often caused by mother’s illness during intrauterine development or asphyxia resulted from premature delivery. Because of inadequate oxygenation, cerebral palsy patients are likely to have physical or mental disability which cannot be cured completely after birth. In order to prevent their disability from getting worse, cerebral palsy patients need to keep up their energy physically and mentally by long-term rehabilitation and training. Focusing on hippotherapy, this documentary meant to let people to understand more about cerebral palsy patients’ lives and provides another method of rehabilitation to encourage cerebral palsy patients to face themselves bravely and live out their lives.

It should be a great lesson for the audience.
We should keep trying in our lives. We all once had hope, had been joyful, and also had been depressed. How many people can stand to the last?
