This study makes use of the analysis of global industry trends and the analysis of international logistics service providers’ global development and networks set up to describe the industry. By focusing on Taiwan market reality, the study analyzes the scale of major international logistics service providers in Taiwan, containing integrated international logistics - DHL, niche-type international logistics-Expeditors International, Morrison Express and Dimerco, and indicating how Taiwan local international logistics company competes with those leading international logistics companies who have strong and powerful resources support, how to break the siege by way of the establishment of core competence development and network strategy, and how to acquire resources to innovative business models and co-opetition strategy, then, become the leading Taiwan international logistics company.
To analyze international logistics market by using Porter''s five forces model of research methods. To optimize the integration of the supply chain、Internal business process reengineering、Value Net analysis, then to identify the differences and enhance competitiveness.
The result of the research indicates that even the large integrated type or niche-type international logistics service providers achieve fast expended map because of M & A policy, but Taiwan local international logistics company may not be as large as they are, as long as Taiwan local international company keep staying with its development strategy by executing through “Enhanced and strengthen local advantages”, and “ Resources utilization", and "Global information system continued development", and "Making use of Talent manpower", and "Consolidation and development of core business", to come up with its co-opetition strategy and achieve the goal of organic growth. The Taiwan local international logistics company must have its strength and continues its positing of being the leading Taiwan internal logistics service provider, and strategically heading to the global development target.
