Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 101 === The purpose of this research is to understand the working stress and emotional management, related circumstance of special education teachers in the elementary and junior high school in Hualien and Taitung County, and furthermore, to analysis the diversity between different background variable teachers. The study employed questionnaire survey method and designed the “Scale for Evaluation of working Stresses and Emotional Management of special education teachers in elementary and junior High School in Hualien and Taitung County” to conduct this research. The subjects are elementary and junior high school special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung County. Through purposive sampling method, a total of 150 questionnaires are issued with 126 valid questionnaires collected from special education teachers. According to the questionnaire survey, using the SPSS statistic software to derive the frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, and using the t test, single factor analysis of variances and Pearson product moment correlation to further handle the data.
The result of this research:
1.The differences of work stress of elementary and junior high school
from special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung county
(1)The degree of working stress of elementary and junior high school from special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung county tend to be medium to low, and the highest stress comes from “work loading” and the lowest stress comes from “professional growth .”
(2)The different “education period”,” “education degree” and “school scale” among elementary and junior high school from special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung county have significant differences with their perception in their working stress.
2.The differences of motional management of elementary and junior high school from special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung county:
(1)The level of motional management of elementary and junior high school from special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung county tend to be medium to low, and the highest ability comes from “emotional empathy” and the lowest ability comes from “emotional expression”.
(2)The different “sex” and “teaching category” among elementary and junior high school from special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung county have significant differences in their emotional management abilities.
3.The elementary and junior high school from special education teachers in Hualien and Taitung county have no significant correlation between their working stress and emotional management ability.
Based on the conclusion above, several recommendations are offered for educational administrative institutes, school, special education teachers and future researchers in working stress and emotional management of special education teachers.
