An empirical survey instrument is developed and validated in this study to collect the statistical data. A total of 325 questionnaires were issued with 153 valid questionnaires received from the aircraft line maintenance crews who work for an air force base. The empirical data were then analyzed by the descriptive statistical analysis and partial least squares (PLS), a component-based structural equation modeling technique, to test the nomological framework and validate the proposed hypotheses in this study. The major research findings of the case study are summarized as follows: 1.The aircraft line maintenance crews of the air force base have moderately good levels of perceptions on motivation factors, job satisfaction and work performance. 2.The positive perception on organizations’ motivation factors would significantly influence of the aircraft line maintenance crews’ job satisfaction and work performance. Also, the aircraft line maintenance crews’ job satisfaction would significantly influence their work performance. 3.The statistical analysis confirmed the nomological validity of the proposed causal relationships among the three major constructs of the conceptual framework. Based upon the research findings of the study, several implications and recommendations are proposed. The empirical results of this study are expected to serve as instrumental guidelines to help the executive management of the aircraft line maintenance crews in the air force base understand the pros and cons of the influencing relationships among motivators, job satisfaction and work performance to setup a superior working environment for the aircraft line maintenance in the air force base.
