Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 電機工程學系 === 101 === In this paper, a wireless IOP sensing reader with continuous sampling is proposed to receive the intraocular pressure information of the low noise amplifier. The data carrier frequency is 2.4GHz. A free running VCO is used to down-convert the high-frequency intraocular pressure data in the mixer and used as a reference clock signal in the TDC. This free running VCO can be adjusted relative to the center frequency of the sensor. Then, the intraocular pressure data output is in digital form. The test chip is implemented with TSMC 0.18um 1P6M process. The supply voltage is 1.8V. There are two chip versions of this wireless intraocular pressure sensing data reader. The first chip used a complement LC-tank VCO to provide a reference clock signal for the system. The chip core area is 1.301×1.271 mm2 and the power dissipation is 54.11mW. The second chip uses fully differential ring oscillator to provide a reference clock signal and the TDC with Continuous Sampling. The sampling frequency can follow the changing input frequency of the system. The chip core area is 1.048×795 mm2 and the power dissipation is 31.39mW.
