Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育事業創新經營碩士學位在職進修專班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to develop the statistical literacy indicators for students in junior high schools to provide substantive suggestions for the year compulsory education in statistics courses. Based on the conceptual framework of GAISE (Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education), a questionnaire designed by analysis hierarchy process (AHP) was utilized in the expert surveys for statistical education experts and senior professors of statistics and senior mathematics teachers in junior high schools.
The Framework of the GAISE contained 2 dimensions, contains the "level" and "process component". The Framework uses three developmental Levels: A, B, and C. The process components contains: formulate questions, collect data, analyze data, and interpret results. As explore for statistical literacy indicators of the junior high school students.
According to the result, suggestions are provided for the education administrative authorities, national syllabus and serving teachers, and researchers in the future.
