Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育經營與管理學系 === 101 === The aim of this study attempts to explore how preschool business model and its white space strategy under Integrated Kindergarten and Nursery School related to the Chartered Preschool in Keelung City. The research centers on an empirical study involving Chartered Preschools in Keelung City. A survey was conducted in this research. The subjects in this study were selected from the population of parents at the municipal kindergarten. Both qualitative and quantitative data analyses were performed to analyze and generalize business strategies of a kindergarten. Municipal kindergartens should examine their white space in a society of rapid change and the phenomenon of baby bust. The business strategies of a kindergarten should seize the white space of the organization. There are several key challenges to successful white space projects: realizing customer value proposition, establishing high education quality, earning customer trust, designing a developmental curriculum with a distinguishing feature, providing a location for new thinking and quality service, and creating both market opportunity and market value. Research findings are summarized below:
(1) Based on the parent’s needs of curriculum, business hour and shuttle bus, kindergartens should commercialize themselves adaptively and make use of outsourcing resources. They should apply for the project of international youth volunteer; thus, volunteers would provide children a variety of specific contexts and multi-dimensional education.
(2) Collaboration between industry and school should be a crucial business strategy. College students from relevant departments could assist kindergarten teachers to run the after school care program. Kindergartens should integrate social resources. The task of shuttle bus could be outsourced to a professional sub-contractor and that would meet the demand of parents.
(3) According to the Early Childhood Education and Care Act, municipal kindergartens should increase the number of administrative personnel. It would greatly improve the administrative efficiency and the human resource management, and it would be beneficial to build a harmony team.
