Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 機械與機電工程學系 === 101 === A system for monitoring Autonomous Sailboat operation and for sailboat handling simulation is developed based on Virtual Reality software. The hardware on-board utilizes a micro-controller to collect various measurements of ship motion and position acquired by Global Positioning System (GPS) and Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS).Wind speed and direction and also measured. Then, the data collected is transmitted to on-shore monitoring system through a wireless transmission module. The software is developed based on VR software EON Studio and Visual Basic program. Real time data received and simulation boat steering results obtained from sailboat dynamic equations can be displayed in this VR system to serve as human-machine interface.
