Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 電機工程學系 === 101 === In recent years, due to the wider utilization of non-linear power devices, the analysis of harmonic distortion sources have become an important concern. For limiting harmonic pollution, some standards, such as IEEE Std. 591 and IEC 61000-3, are to prevent customers from injecting harmonics into the utility systems.
The purpose of this thesis is to study the harmonic contributions from the customer and the utility at the point of common coupling. The proposed approach is based on the harmonic vector method with which reference impedances are introduced. Since the customer impedances vary according to the customer loading conditions, the measured resistance defined at fundamental frequency is used as the customer side reference impedance. And the utility reference impedance is the impedance of the last transformer before the connection point. Finally, measurement and analysis of harmonics are conducted to determine the respective harmonic contributions from the customer and the utility in a campus departmental building, and the approach is further verified through calculations.
