Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 通訊與導航工程學系 === 101 === Blockage and Reflections from buildings and other large, solid objects can lead to Global Positioning System (GPS) accuracy problems. The vector tracking loop (VTL) architectures provide several important advantages as compared to the scalar tracking loops. One of the merits is that the tracking loop can be assisted positioning when satellite signal blockage. This thesis investigates the incorporation of the neural network (NN) into the vector tracking loop for improving problem of GPS signal blockage. The NN is used to bridge the GPS signal and prevent the error growth due to signal blockage from spreading into the entire tracking loop. The NN is motivated by their ability to approximate an unknown nonlinear input-output mapping through supervised training. Performance evaluation for the NN aided architecture as compared to the conventional VTL will be carried out. The results show that the VTL based on the proposed design can effectively overcome the problem in the GPS blockage environment.
