Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 海洋環境化學與生態研究所 === 101 === Primary production and environmental conditions from two spring cruises (2009/4/29-5/9 and 2010/4/11-4/21) of the East China Sea were used to examine the inter-annual variability of primary production. It was found that the shelf-averaged primary production in the 2009 spring cruise (780±351 mgC m-2 d-1) was much higher than in the 2010 spring cruise (413±302 mgC m-2 d-1). High primary production in the 2009 spring cruise was resulted from its high transparency in seawater. That is light availability is the key factor that controlled primary production in springtime of the East China Sea.
