It can be used for other health institutions to introduce associated policies to enhance supportive environments so that patients can have quality life. The study subjects were basically chosen from 1005 new diagnosed tuberculosis patients who first time received medication treatment at Tao Yuan County in 2012. The questionnaire was used for data collection; 330 questionnaires were collected and the effective response rate was 84.6%. The results were as follows: 1.The results show that the participants only felt moderate support from the society. The order of different kinds of social support was: emotional support, message support and essentiality support. In addition, the study participants felt most support from the careing members of Direct Observed Treatment , but least support from friends. 2.The 「role limitation due to physical problems」 and 「role limitation due to emotional problems」were two lowest dimension for quality of life in the analysis results. From the results, we have learned that because of the illness, tuberculosis patients’ daily life have been greatly affected physiologically and psychologically. 3.In demography, the causes of tuberculosis patients’ quality of life were: ago, marital status, family income, socioeconomic status, combination with chronic disease and medication side effects. 4.we found that there was positive correlation between society support and 「mental health」dimensions. In other words, when the tuberculosis patients obtain more social support, their 「mental health」were better. Furthermore, if we provide more emotional and message supports, the patients mental health can be increased. 5.All the predicted variables explain 25.3% Variance of quality of life. 姜逸群 葉國樑 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 110 zh-TW
