The purpose of this study was to understand the role of mentor teachers, the counseling strategies adopted by the mentor teachers, the development of teacher-student's interaction and the factors influencing teacher-student's interactions in educational practice of physical education. The results as follows: first, physical education mentor teachers play the role of teaching demonstrator, doubts consulter, spiritual supporter and information provider. Second, the counseling strategies adopted by physical education mentor teachers are adaptive development, cooperative learning, caring for victims, providing information about teachers audition, random discussion, initiative informing and extension counseling. Third, physical education mentor teachers, counseling stage can be divided into several parts, including following class observation, unit teaching, independent teaching and cooperative learning, and the relation between physical education mentor teachers and student teachers are monarch and minister, peer, indulgence and friends. Fourth, factors affecting teacher-student interaction are mentor teachers, leading style, student teachers’ ambition, role-play of teachers and students, and school environment.
