Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 生態科學與技術學系生態旅遊碩士班 === 101 === With the change of people’s life values and the increasing attention to the importance of environmental protection worldwide, more and more people are holding a reflective attitude toward nature and ecology. Meanwhile, the leisure pattern of “Working Holiday” is rising up in which people learn to live with the natural environment and experience the fun in voluntary participation. The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between “environmental attitude” of eco-working holiday tourists and their “cognition, attitude and behavior of eco-working holiday”. In this study, questionnaires are used to survey those who join “Sicao Eco-Working Holiday” in Taijiang National Park. Descriptive statistics, multivarate analysis of variance, cluster analysis, person correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis methods were used to analyze the retrieved data. In conclusion, the results are divided into five parts:
一、Tourists’ different backgrounds make significant differences in “environmental attitude”, “cognition, attitude and behavior of eco-working holiday”.
These tourists of environmental attitude show significant differences in the variables of “age”, “education”, “occupation”, “monthly income”, and “environmental education course taking”. These tourists of cognition of eco-working holiday show significant differences in the variable of “conservation organization participating”. These tourists of attitude of eco-working holiday show significant differences in the variable of “age”. These tourists of behavior of eco-working holiday show significant differences in the variables of “age”, “education”, “occupation”, “environmental education course taking” and “conservation organization participating”.
二、The survey results could be classified as the following through cluster analysis: based on the environmental attitude, tourists are divided into four types: “Highly Valuing”, “Medium Valuing”, “Sensing of Crisis” and “Attitude Weakening”.
三、“Tourists’ backgrounds” and “cognition, attitude and behavior of eco-working holiday” vary greatly with different types of environmental attitude.
(一)In tourists’ backgrounds, the tourists of “Highly Valuing” show significant differences in the variables of “age”, “education”, “occuption”, “monthly income”; the tourists of “Attitude Weakening” show significant differences in the variable of “environment education course taking”.
(二)The “healthy growth of mentality and physicality” factor in tourists’ cognition of eco-working holiday shows tourists of “Highly Valuing” are significant better than the tourists of “Medium Valuing”. The tourists of “Highly Valuing” show significant better than the tourists of “Medium Valuing” and “Attitude Weakening” in “social services” factor. In “local mutual development” factor, the tourists of “Highly Valuing” and “Sensing of Crisis” show significant better than the tourists of “Medium Valuing” and “Attitude Weakening”.
(三)In tourists’ three factor of attitude of eco-working holiday, the tourists of “Sensing of Crisis” and “Highly Valuing” show significant better than the tourists of “Medium Valuing”.
(四)In tourists’ behavior of eco-working holiday, the tourists of “Sensing of Crisis” and “Highly Valuing” show significant better than the tourists of “Medium Valuing” in “in depth understanding and comply with environment education” and “recognize future development potential” factor. The tourists of “Highly Valuing” show significant better than the tourists of “Medium Valuing” in “respect Locals through environmental study” and “implement environment education” factor.
四、There are significant positive correlations in the “cognition, attitude, and behavior of eco-working holiday”.
五、The “cognition, attitude, and behavior of eco-working holiday” can predict positively with each other.
The influence of “healthy growth of mentality and physicality” factor on “attitude and behavior of eco-working holiday” is mainly factor. The influence of “recognize ecological development potential” factor on behavior of eco-working holiday is mainly factor. Finally, the results of this study can serve as references for the authorities concerned to plan and promote eco-working holiday.
