Sitting is one of the common factors cause the low back pain disease progression. However, there is no definitive evidence to prove that they increase the risk. We tested hypotheses in this study: using backrests affects the lung capacity and expiratory flow (LC-EF). There were 30 male subjects , recruited from University of Tainan . Subjects were excluded if they had any disease of back and spine . Before data collection, subjects sat on a office chair with their hips and knees at 90°, their feet positioned shoulder width apart, and their arms relaxed on the thigh . This study used four types of backrests Zhejiang waist support, Imeger-37 type-2, pine relaxer RS-801 and Lohas Chair Series WR-901 for experiments. We evaluated lung function, lumbar angle and mentality by questionnaires to compare the differences of each backrest. In conclusion, this results have shown the Zhejiang waist support and Spine relaxer rs-801 have better performance on lung function and lumbar angle . 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 機電系統工程研究所碩士班 === 101 === Due to the modern sedentary in their daily lives, the people spent most of the time in
sitting. Sitting is one of the common factors cause the low back pain disease progression.
However, there is no definitive evidence to prove that they increase the risk. We tested
hypotheses in this study: using backrests affects the lung capacity and expiratory flow
(LC-EF).
There were 30 male subjects , recruited from University of Tainan . Subjects were
excluded if they had any disease of back and spine . Before data collection, subjects sat on a
office chair with their hips and knees at 90°, their feet positioned shoulder width apart, and
their arms relaxed on the thigh . This study used four types of backrests Zhejiang waist
support, Imeger-37 type-2, pine relaxer RS-801 and Lohas Chair Series WR-901 for
experiments. We evaluated lung function, lumbar angle and mentality by questionnaires to
compare the differences of each backrest.
In conclusion, this results have shown the Zhejiang waist support and Spine relaxer
rs-801 have better performance on lung function and lumbar angle .
