Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 諮商與輔導學系碩士班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to explore the counselor trainees’ original family experience which had impacted on counseling professional development. The research explored how those original family experiences had influenced on trainees’ professional development and how trainees’ professional development had influenced on their original families. This research utilized purposeful sampling, and four counselor trainees who had practical experience on counseling more than six months and less than two years. They were also qualified for the national exam for counseling psychologist license. According to the qualitative research approach, the data were collected by semi-structured depth interview. The collected materials were processed by thematic analysis in order to find the research results. After analyzing the data, three essential themes were identified, they were: 1. discovery –original family experience influenced the ways on counselor trainees’ counseling professional development; 2.awareness–counselor trainees realized the influences of family patterns in professional development; 3, changing ─the professional development and the family of origin had been changed. According to this research findings, this study also proposed suggestions for future research, counselor trainees, and counseling training.
